About these terms
The sqrtai.com website (the “Site”) is operated by SQRT AI Limited (“SQRT AI”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong SAR. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site is
The Site is an informational and marketing presence for SQRT AI's research, products, and engagements. Content is provided for general information only. It is not professional, legal, financial, investment, medical, or tax advice. It is not an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to buy or sell any security or other financial instrument.
Where the Site references our research lab, portfolio companies, fund mechanics, or investment activity, that material is for context only and does not create an offering, a partnership, or a fiduciary duty between SQRT AI and the reader.
Permitted use
You may use the Site to:
- Read public content, learn about our work, and contact us.
- Request access to gated surfaces using the forms we provide.
- Share links to the Site, including on social and professional networks.
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.
- Attempt to access non-public portions of the Site without authorisation, including by reverse engineering, scraping at a rate or pattern designed to evade rate limits, or circumventing access controls.
- Interfere with the operation of the Site, including by introducing malicious code, conducting denial-of-service activity, or probing for vulnerabilities without our prior written consent.
- Submit information you know to be false (including in our contact and access-request forms) or impersonate another person.
- Use the Site or its content to train machine learning models, build derivative datasets, or develop competing products without our prior written consent.

Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, copy, logos, marks, design, source code, and arrangement — are owned by SQRT AI Limited or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No licence is granted by your access to the Site beyond the limited right to view the public content in the ordinary course.
The SQRT AI name and logo are unregistered trade marks of SQRT AI Limited. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except in fair and accurate descriptive reference (for example, a journalist citing our name in coverage).
Third-party links and content
The Site may link to third-party websites or reference third-party products and services. We do not control those third parties and are not responsible for their content, practices, or terms. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and policies.
Gated surfaces
Certain areas of the Site are gated and require an issued access token (a “magic link”). Access to these areas is at SQRT AI's discretion and is subject to additional confidentiality terms communicated directly to invited recipients. Sharing, forwarding, or republishing gated content without our written permission is not permitted.
No warranty
The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the Site will be free of errors, security incidents, or downtime.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SQRT AI Limited and its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any content on it, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site is limited to one hundred Hong Kong dollars (HK$100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Changes to the Site and these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the date of the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site after revisions constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and SQRT AI Limited agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
